Ed Bainbridge (back to comedians)
Ed Bainbridge began his stand-up career in Spring 2006, and quickly stopped after three or four terrible gigs. He picked up where he left off a year later, and has been gigging consistently since Spring 2007. In August 2007 his five-minute set at the New Acts Night at Downstairs at the King's Head, Crouch End, led to the offer of a 15-minute spot on a Sunday in January 2008, at which he died horribly in front of a horrified yet curiously sympathetic crowd. Also in January 2008, Ed won the Comedy Café New Acts Night contest on his first attempt.
